Isambard Kingdom Brunel (1806 - 1859)

Sporting Achievements

Gareth McEwen – Year10 won the 1500m race and 800m race on sports day.  Gareth plays for Torquay United School of Excellence and has played against Cheltenham, Swansea, Yeovil and Bristol.  Gareth was noted for his skills when he played in year 9 when the boys won the South Devon Cup for Westlands!  Well done Gareth!

 

Commendations

In the last academic year 225 Commendations were received by Brunel Students! - 88  Gold Commendations, 71 Silver Commendations and 66 Bronze Commendations.


Achievements

Brunel won sports day last year and came second this year. Brunel totted up a grand total of 1,408 Praise Post Cards in the last academic year as well as 13,448 House Points !Brunel came second in the Inter house competition.
